Cheryl Smith

Cheryl Smith has been servicing Morris and Northern Somerset Counties since 1995. Cheryl has been honored to receive numerous awards, including First Runner Up, Decorator of the Year, and the Positive Thinker Award. Her work has been published in various magazines, been featured on HGTV, in the 2008 Dream Room Calendar, and published in Decorating… The Professional Touch, by Carol Donayre Bugg.

I provide a complete in-home interior decorating service by bringing thousands of samples of drapery fabrics, furniture, carpet and area rugs, wall coverings and accessories directly to you. We then work together, to coordinate fabrics and colors with your existing furnishings. I find that my clients really enjoy viewing all of their choices in the convenience and lighting of their own homes or offices. They have expressed that they like working with an interior decorator who doesn’t charge a design fee. I pride myself on my ability to work within my clients’ investment level and with their style preferences, while they pay only for the products they select.

I grew up here in Morris County and my husband and I also raised our two sons here. I am the proud grandmother of two grandsons and a granddaughter—the first girl in the family in many years! She won’t be spoiled!

I have been honored to receive numerous awards, including First Runner Up, Decorator of the Year, 2007 and the Positive Thinker Award. My work has been published in various magazines, been featured on HGTV and in the 2008 Dream Room Calendar, and published in a book titled Decorating…The Professional Touch, by Carol Donayre Bugg. I am very proud to be a member of Decorating Den Interiors Lifetime Century Society, Premier Club and President’s Club; and to be a recipient of the coveted Director’s Award. I also hold the Decorating Den Certified Decorator (DDCD) designation, of which I am most proud. For four years I have served on the Decorating Den Interiors Leadership Council, two as Chairwoman, then “Past-President”.

When not busy helping my clients beautifying their surroundings, I wholeheartedly believe in giving back to the community. I’ve been an active fundraiser in my company’s support of the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation as well as supporting my local First Aid Squad and local charities. In addition, for 22 years, I was a member of the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce up until it’s closing. I am Past President and previous chairperson of the Chamber, where we were very active in the community. You may have seen me directing the Children’s Events at Fishawack!

If you’re looking for a decorator who is easy to work with, works with your investment level, decorates around your lifestyle, listens to you, expands upon your ideas and makes decorating a fun experience, please give me a call. I look forward to working with you!
